作詞者や作曲者など、音楽を創作した方に与えられる権利のこと。著作権者は、楽曲がダウンロード配信やストリーミング配信で使われたり、テレビで流されたり、CDに収録されたり、また楽譜で使われたりした場合などに、著作権使用料を受け取ることができます。
It is the right that is given to those who created musical works like lyricists or composers.
The copyright owner can receive publishing royalty when the composition is used by a music user such as over the internet music distribution, airing music on TV or radio, recording on CD, publications and so on.
著作権とは、オリジナル曲を作った際に自動的に発生するものです。そのため特に届け出が必要なものではありません。ですが、配信で使われたり、テレビで流れた際などに発生する著作権印税を受け取るためには、JASRAC（一般社団法人日本音楽著作権協会）や株式会社NexToneなどの音楽著作権管理団体に楽曲情報の届け出が必要となります。
Copyright is the one that occurs automatically when a song writer creates an original composition, and so application is not necessary. However, if copyright holders want to receive publishing royalty generated from music distribution (streaming,., download), broadcasting, recording, musical performance, publication, etc., they need to report music information to a music copyright society such as JASRAC (Japanese Society for Rights of Authors, Composers and Publishers) or NexTone Inc..
例えば、テレビ番組やCM制作のスタッフが、「この曲いいな」と思っても、JASRACやNexToneなどの音楽著作権管理団体に登録されていないと、作品名や作家名、著作権者もわからないため、利用を諦めることに。また未登録の場合、ライブなどで演奏されたり、テレビなどで流されたりした際も、著作権使用料が入ってくることはありません。
For example, even though a television program or a commercial film production staff thinks “this music is good” if the composition is not registered with a music copyright society for example, JASRAC or NexTone., they will give up using the music since they cannot find out the composition name, writer’s name and copyright holder. Also if the composition is not registered with a society you cannot receive the publishing royalty when the composition is performed in the live or used on television.
昔と違い、今はテレビやCDのみならず、カラオケやインタラクティブ配信など、楽曲が利用される形態はさまざま。より複雑化した内容を、その都度確認し、使用料などの交渉をおこなうのは、時間も労力もかかりとても大変なこと。創作活動をおこないながら管理していくことは大変難しいと言えるでしょう。
Compared with the past, music is used on various occasions, which means not only TV or CD but also karaoke or digital distribution. You will spend much time or labor to check the usage content or to negotiate usage fee and so on. We assume that it is very difficult to manage composition while creating music.
作詞家や作曲家の方々および企業様と契約を結び、著作権者に成り代わって、大切な楽曲の管理をおこないます。
内容は主に以下の4つ。楽曲をJASRACやNexToneなどの音楽著作権管理団体に登録すること。著作権侵害への対応。楽曲が利用された場合に発生する著作権使用料を作家様や企業様へ分配すること。そして出版物・映像物・CMほか、楽曲の利用を希望される側との交渉や許諾などの窓口となります。
After we made a contract with writers or companies, we will manage their compositions. Mainly we will do the following four contents. We will register your compositions with the music copyright society such as JASRAC or NexTone. We will solve any illegal usage of your compositions. We will distribute the publishing royalty. We will contact users, who would like to use your compositions for printing, visual media or commercial film.
初期費用・年会費は一切かかりません。契約を結んだ楽曲が利用された際に発生する著作権使用料の中から代行手数料をいただきます。契約内容により異なりますので、お問い合わせください。
